GLAXO adelgaza...allí.

One of the biggest hits to Glaxo’s U.S. sales force came in November 2008, when the company said

it was cutting 1,800 jobs.

At the same time, Glaxo has been adding thousands of sales reps in emerging markets such as China, Brazil and Russia, where sales are booming. The company’s pharmaceutical revenue in the U.S. last year fell by 13% to GBP 9.2 billion, while it grew by 20% to nearly GBP3 billion in emerging markets.
