1 in 2 of us will develop some form of cancer over our lifetime. Of women that get cancer, less than a third are given any pretreatment information about sexual side effects of cancer. No wonder 60% of women with cancer say they experience sexual dysfunction. It’s time to change that. 

 As part of our campaign with GIRLvs CANCER we created three films spotlighting the experiences of women and their cancer journey as they rediscover their sexuality. 

Directed by Sophia Ray, the stories subvert the conventional narratives around cancer to an unexpected (and very happy) ending.

A defiant speech about the cancer journey of a real woman (named Ava) and her rediscovery of her sexuality suddenly descends into a sensual orgasm, in one of three provocative films by Girl vs Cancer.
