IVAX Corp, which was acquired by Israel-based Teva Pharmaceutical Industries in 2006, resolved accusations last week that it paid kickbacks to Omnicare, the largest nursing home pharmacy in the country. The conditions of the settlement stipulated that Omnicare is to pay a $98 million fee, while IVAX will pay $14 million.
