Merck KGaA los recortes de personal de confirman.

German pharmaceutical and chemical company Merck KGaA said Tuesday it has agreed with labor representatives on a savings plan that involves 1,100 job cuts in Germany by 2015.
The job cuts will be across all the company divisions and will mainly result from voluntary resignations and early retirement programs, the company said in a statement.
There will be no forced redundancies at Merck's Darmstadt and Gernsheim sites through the end of 2017, workers council Chairman Heiner Wilhelm said.
The plan includes shutting down operations at the company's Lehrte site in northern Germany and in southern Germany's Hohenbrunn site.
Merck employs 10,900 people across Germany.
The measures are part of the Merck's efficiency program to secure long-term competitiveness, the company said. (Ver)
