“STOP THE STIGMA OF MENTAL ILLNESS”/ Big Pharma—Define 'Better' (III)

Psychiatrists and pharmaceutical companies claim mental disorders such as Bi-Polar, Depression, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD) are “diseases” like cancer, diabetes and heart disease. Yet unlike real medical diseases, there are no biological/medical tests to verify the medical existence of any psychiatric disorder. The point is that the psycho/pharma industry misleads the public that these are medical conditions in order to justify giving them dangerous and mind altering drugs. It’s a brilliant marketing campaign, but it is not science. Take a closer look at the difference between a disease and a psychiatric “disorder.”
